With airlines trying to meet sustainability (and eventually net-zero) goals, many are allocating funds for sustainability and carbon impact reductions. Sustainable aviation fuel shows promise and could contribute to 65% of necessary reductions for airlines to reach net-zero by 2050, but the current demand for this type of fuel outweighs its production.
