In a recent incident, NASA confirmed that a metal object that crashed into a Naples, Florida, home was part of the International Space Station (ISS). The debris, weighing 1.6 pounds and consisting of a metal alloy known as Inconel, was part of 5,800 pounds of hardware jettisoned after a battery upgrade on the ISS.
